This term, Year 4 have been lucky enough to experience fire making in our forest school afternoon, kindly led by Mrs Collett. Children enjoyed being outside and learning through exploring our forest area. Children were particularly enthused by searching for different fungi, which they found many different varieties of, using the slack line to travel and making hot chocolate! 

We also had great fun learning about electricity in science. We had to solve problems by using the resources we had been given to create switches to open and close our circuits! 

Year 4 have also done lots of practical maths this half term and worked particularly hard on our rounding skills!
