Year 5 visited Tamworth Castle to expand our understanding of the Anglo-Saxon period. We had a great time digging for and identifying artifacts, exploring the castle and even trying on genuine Anglo-Saxon armor and weapons! As well as this, we looked at the Anglo-Saxon hoard and learnt how to write our names in Runes.
